Again playing with lines, i was going for separation between the two characters. The cell phones add a nice touch. My goal was to place them within their own white 'mini-frame' and use that as a contrast between the two. The very dark doors on the side also confine the space just from the get go, so it worked out well.
I think the square shape between them helps a lot. A circular shape would have produced a different feel.

ReplyDeleteI think the confining division is strong here. I also love how you get these nice reflections on the couch that show the line in the cushions. This is a really good divide on the foundational object they are both sitting on. So it's not just behind them, but actually between them
