(Monday Oct 5th) This was just a fun experiment with tonal non-coincidence. So, naturally, I wanted to hide the subject (his face) and hint at some other suspense. The knife works well, though over the top, the diagonal lines worked pretty well also, since it seems in your face and shaky. The face is still a little lit.. so that's an issue, but it's all a work in progress.
That's non-coincidence of tone alright! I don't think it matters that the face is slightly illuminated.
